Robert Pantry

At the age of 34, Robert became the youngest person to ever hold the position of Managing Director of a major financial institution in The Bahamas (RBC FINCO), a publicly-traded commercial bank with over $1B in assets.

He also sat on the Board of Directors of RBC Cayman Ltd. at age 37 and was one of the youngest to be named a Director.

Before co-founding Simplified Lending at the age of 39, he held regional roles with two international financial institutions with regional responsibility covering (Bahamas, Cayman, Turks and Caicos and The British Virgin Islands).

He was the youngest person to receive the Minister's Award For Excellence in the Financial Services Industry in the Bahamas, having won the award at age 25.

Robert was born and grew up in the inner city area known as Bain and Grants Town or Over-The-Hill and continues to have a passion for inner-city youths and inner city development.

Julian Francis is a former Governor of The Central Bank of The Bahamas.

He is the Chairman of a major publicly-traded company and director of several companies.

He is also one of the most respected business minds in the country.

Since beginning operations in March 2019, we became the largest mortgage and money brokering firm in The Bahamas.

During the first quarter on 2020, we secured an excess of $50MM in loan approvals and terms sheets issued to clients.

In 2021, we secured an excess of $75MM in loans and terms sheets issued to clients.

In June 2021, Simplified Lending acquired a majority stake in Affinity Insurance Agency Ltd.

In July 2021, Affinity Insurance signed an agreement to become the official sales agent for Doctors Hospital "Loyalty Advantage Membership Program" (LAMP).

In Oct 2021, Simplified Lending expanded our Personal Loans Lending Program to include more private sector companies.

In 2021 we also began offering alternative loan structures for businesses.

We continue to assist business owners with funding to expand which provides them with the opportunity to hire more people in the local community.

We were the first private financial institution in The Bahamas to offer zero rate, no fee relief loans to people devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

Our team was one of the first group of volunteers with the Bahamas Red Cross. Additionally, we provided donations to assist families impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

In 2021, we launched LOVE Simplified, which is the name of our Corporate Responsibility Program with the focus being on inner city youth and community development.

We have expanded the type and structure of the commercial loans we broker.

In June 2021, we closed a deal that saw an international private equity firm invest in a Bahamian small business which has now grown into a large business.

In November 2021, we successfully brokered and secured an approval for a $9.9MM loan facility in addition to $30MM in terms sheets being issued.

We have expanded the alternative lending we do in order to provide more flexibility to business customers.
